human space flight

The President came to town this week.  That's a pretty big deal.  Whether you support his policies or not, it's not often that we get to have the leader of the free world in our own backyard.  He was here to lay out his vision for the future of space exploration in America.  That's another pretty big deal...especially since we are the Space Coast.

While I am not directly involved in the wondrous work that takes place just a few miles from my front door that puts astronauts and satellites into space, I am very concerned.  Many of my friends, family members and clients earn their living by doing this work.  As a long-time resident of Brevard County and a property owner, I am concerne

I love exploring; it's what I was born to do. I also love mathematics, engineering, physics. I want to devote my life to using math, engineering and physics to making manned space flight safer, and to help us reach farther than we could have ever imagined into the great Cosmos.

I hope to one day explore the heavens as well.

I am a thirty something Mom who has been passionate about space since visiting the Johnson Space Center as a kid. I love science and everything about it, but ultimately went for my second and third loves to start off my careers.

I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, and my Graduate degree in Public Administration and now work at NASA in the Office of Legislative Affairs, constantly focusing on making sure Congress understands the importance of funding a robust space program.
