Our mascot is Meco, the birdonaut you see in our logo. He was named after the acronym MECO, which stands for Main Engine Cut-Off, a critical point in rocket launches. To show your support for the Society, you can add a tiny Meco the birdonaut to the corner of your Twitter avatar:
